President's Statement

Your Most Valuable Asset
By Tom Young

http://articles4info.com

Nothing is certain except change.
That's why insurance protection can be your most valuable asset. For a few dollars per month, you can protect your health, your cash flow, and your assets.

Before I retired in 1997 . . .
I found great satisfaction at being a Registered Representative, Financial and Estate Planner, for one of the most highly respected financial institutions in the United States,

When I met with prospective clients and one on one and in seminars,
I found a great void between an understanding of value of insurance protection to cover losses in the event of an unexpected occurrence, and as preparation for retirement income.

Most people hate paying insurance premiums.
It seems to be an unnecessary burden . . . until something happens. Recently, my cousin's apartment building caught fire. She is young and didn't realize the importance of renter's insurance. Now she has to replace furnishings, clothes, collectibles, personal and other items acquired over a considerable period of time.  In addition she has to pay for moving and storing everything she salvaged. Her rent at a new place will also be higher. She now understands the importance of insurance and has vowed to never make the mistake of not having proper coverage again.

Some types of insurance are for temporary protection only . . .
- term life, homeowners, auto, health, renters, business interruption, etc.

Then there are permanent insurance types such as;
Whole Life, Adjustable Life, Universal Life, Disability,
etc
These types of coverage are the cornerstone of financally preparing you for adequate retirement income as well as protecting your most asset, which is the continuation of your income stream no matter what happens.

I decided to build this website from an objective viewpoint
Thus allowing me to give you a basic understanding of many types of insurance and how it works without having a personal interest in your decision making process.

I am a retired Financial Planner which included being
an Insurance Agent, and Registered Representative
.
I learned a lot about human nature by having met with, at the very least 300 people per year for over ten years, I know how skeptical people are when someone is trying to sell them something that they don't understand. I wouldn't dare say that this site is comprehensive when it comes to all the possible aspects of insurance, such as the tax benefits and the intricate uses of those benefits in financial, estate and retirement planning.

When I was active in the industry, I enjoyed conducting seminars, studying Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) courses, and meeting with individuals and families from all walks of life. Now I am thrilled when people tell me how much taxes they saved, how much additional retirement income they get and the other benfits they have derived from attending the seminars, and one on one financial planning sessions. (300 people per year is probably a gross understatement).

There is an old adage in sports and in life, "Sometimes the best offense is defense". And so it is with owning insurance.

I sincerely hope this website will be of benefit to you. So, feel free to explore these pages until you get a better understanding of insurance products and find that which you are seeking for your protection and protection of those you love.
